Rules & Regulation

General Rules

  1. All pupils should be present in school on the opening day each term.
  2. Irregular attendance, unjustified absence or objectionable moral behavior justify dismissal. If a student is absent for fifteen CONSECUTIVE DAYS without an application, or for three days at the beginning of a term, his/her name may be struck off from the rolls.
  3. Every absence has to be intimated to the Principal immediately with an application duly signed by the parents. No student who has been absent from school or is late will be admitted into class without the signed permission of the principal.
  4. All students are expected to stand up in silence for the Assembly at the sound of the second bell. Assembly is the most important part of the school day. Every student should be present at it to begin the day with prayer to God and to listen to the announcements and instructions of the Principal.
  5. No books, other than the required text books should be brought to school. No student should bring to the school any objectionable articles, mobiles, electronic goods such as camera, tape-recorder, knives, weapons, crackers, explosives etc. The offenders are liable to be dismissed or rusticated from the school and confiscated goods will not be returned. The decision of the school authorities is binding on all.
  6. No child should leave the school premises during class hours without the knowledge and permission of the Principal.
  7. Any damage to school property will have to be made good. The decision of the Principal regarding the amount is final.
  8. The school is not responsible for goods lost. Students should not carry or wear valuable articles including rings and fancy watches to school. Students are liable to serious disciplinary action for stealing or damaging the articles of others.
  9. No pupil suffering from a contagious or infectious disease will be permitted to attend the school. After recovery a Medical Certificate is to be submitted.
  10. During school hours, students are not allowed to receive visitors or make phone calls. They will not be permitted to leave their classes to answer a phone call / the message will be conveyed if the matter is very urgent.
  11. No student should remain in the classroom during P.T. or games period unless permitted by the Principal.
  12. Any student desiring to be exempted from P.T. or games must produce a Medical certificate to the effect he/she is physically unfit to take part.
  13. Students shall not offer presents to their teachers except in the circumstances sanctioned by the Principal.
  14. All the students should be habitually clean and always neatly dressed. They are expected to come in school uniform everyday.
  15. No teacher should take private tuition of any pupil without the permission of the Principal.
  16. Students must come to class with the lessons well prepared and the home work completed.
  17. The school diary should be brought to the school daily.
  18. Running, playing and shouting inside the school building is never allowed.
  19. When students move along verandas, to other class rooms, labs and games they must walk in silence and in single line. They should always keep to the left as far as possible.
  20. Students should be particularly careful not to throw paper or fruit peels anywhere in the school premises. They should use the bins especially provided for that purpose.
  21. Students are responsible to the school authorities not only for their conduct in school but also for their general behavior outside. Any reported or observed objectionable conduct out of school shall make them liable to disciplinary action.
  22. Students are not allowed to enter a classroom other than their own.
  23. Articles found in school or on its premises are to be handed over to the office.
  24. Parents send their children to this school so that they be proficient in both Hindi and English. In the school premises all are expected to speak only in English.
  25. Students should at all cost avoid writing, carving and scratching on wails and furniture. Such habits are detrimental to good education and a sign of low taste.
  26. Principal’s permission is required:
    • To make a collection for any purpose whatever;
    • To arrange for party, picnic or meeting;
    • To join at sports meet or to play a game not arranged by the school;
    • To give presents to teachers or stage demonstration their honor. And to arrange private tuition from the school teachers.

Rules for Admission

  1. Admission to L.K.G. is generally announced in the FIRST WEEK OF JANUARY. Above 3 years 6 months and below 4 years 6 months as on 1st April, is the age for admission in LKG. A corresponding scale of age is fixed for the subsequent classes.
  2. A Student joining the school for the first time must produce satisfactory evidence of the Date of Birth from the Municipal (Nagar Palika or Nagar Nigam) or a Baptismal certificate Name and Date of Birth once recorded will not be changed.
  3. When a student is admitted on a Transfer Certificate, he / she shall not be placed in any class higher than that for which the certificate shows him / her to be qualified, nor will he / she be promoted before the end of a school year.
  4. A pupil who does not complete the school calendar is not eligible for promotion hence, admission will be done accordingly.
  5. No student will be admitted without a Transfer Certificate from the school last attended; and in no case shall a student be permitted to attend class pending formal admission.
  6. Only students from recognised English medium schools will be considered for admission.
  7. A certain number of seats are reserved for SC/ST candidates.
  8. The school leaving certificate of a student joining from a school outside the state of Uttar Pradesh must be countersigned by the Education Authorities of the District in which the previous school is situated.

  10. Pupils coming from other towns on transfer could be considered in case of vacancies, only after an Entrance Test.
  11. Once the Interaction / Entrance Test is conducted and th list of the successful students is declared, no enquiry will be entertained by the office with regard to admission.
  12. The final decision with regard to admission rests with the Principal.RECOMMENDATIONS ARE NOT CONSIDERED AND DONATIONS ARE NOT ACCEPTED.

Rules for Withdrawal

  • Every application for a school leaving certificate shall be requested in writing by the Parent or Guardian on the prescribed form.
  • A school leaving certificate will not be issued until all the dues of the school are cleared. Those who leave in April will pay the fees for May and June as well.
  • A fee of Rs. 100/- will be charged for a Transfer Certificate and this will be issued only three days after the receipt of an application.
  • The issue of T.C. implies that all dues to and from the school are completely cleared.
  • Students can be asked to leave the school on the following grounds-
    • Disciplinary
    • Unsatisfactory progress in work.

Rules for fees Deposit

  1. Fees is taken monthly. However, fees for the entire year or for a term could be paid together.
  2. Books will be issued only on the Library Cards (class Ill onwards).. No exemption or reduction in fees will be made on account of any holiday or absence or for any cause.
  3. All fees should be paid by the date mentioned on the fee card. A late fee of Rs. 10/- per month will be charged.
  4. If fee is not paid for two consecutive months the name will be struck off from the rolls and if the student wants to continue, re-admission fee (Rs. 1000/-) will be charged.
  5. Fees of April, May and June must be paid before the school closes for the summer vacation.
  6. Students, whose dues are not cleared fully, will not be allowed to appear for the examinations.
  7. While applying for T.C., fee card should be produced.
  8. School fees once paid will not be refunded in any case.
  9. For the loss of the fee card Rs. 10/-will be charged.
  10. Those who do not pay the fees by the 30th of the month are liable to a fine of Rs. 10/-. Delay of payment beyond the end of the month renders a pupil liable to be struck off the rolls.
    N.B. : Any other future changes made in the prospectus regarding tuition fee or any other charges will be binding on parents/guardians. It will be notified on the notice board of the school when necessary.
